Where are you from and what were you doing before enrolling in graduate school?
I’m from Bangalore, India. Before enrolling in graduate school, I worked at IPG for a year as a creative executive within the tech space where I had the privilege of watching my ideas come to life by curating campaigns for multiple launches of the Redmi smartphone series. I started to learn more about the digital media space and decided I wanted to thrive in this realm.
How did you learn about the Digital Social Media degree program and why did you choose USC Annenberg?
Upon embarking on my journey to pursue a master’s degree, I meticulously researched top-tier institutions in the United States offering digital media programs. USC Annenberg stood out as the perfect fit for me as an international student, with its world-class programs, robust trojan network, unparalleled resources, incredible opportunities, esteemed faculty, and a vibrant and diverse student community.
What have you enjoyed the most about the Digital Social Media degree program?
The DSM program has been an enriching one, marked by great flexibility to tailor the program based on one’s goals, I’ve embraced the opportunity to upskill through this course across diverse domains by seamlessly integrating courses from different schools at USC. Beyond the academic spectrum, the highlight of my journey lies in the tapestry of global connections fostered within the USC community.
