Lisa Fung is an award-winning writer and editor whose work has appeared in the New York Times, Los Angeles Times, San Francisco Chronicle, ACLU magazine, and numerous other publications. She is also a regular contributor to the public policy magazine Blueprint. During her more than two decades at The Los Angeles Times, she served as arts and entertainment editor, arts and culture editor, national edition editor, and business/technology editor. In addition, she served as the founding editor of Culture Monster, the first newspaper blog dedicated solely to arts and culture coverage. Fung also worked at The Wrap, an online entertainment industry news outlet, as its first executive editor. She currently serves on the boards of Jenesse Center, a nonprofit domestic violence intervention-prevention organization in Los Angeles, and the American Theatre Wing, home of the Tony Awards, in New York City.
