Gabriella Robison Porotesano is a strategic communications professional specializing in media relations, executive communications, reputation management and translating complex information into compelling, accessible stories. She is a media relations manager with Keck Medicine of USC, where she develops and executes communications campaigns that elevate clinical expertise, medical research and healthcare innovation.
Her work also includes leading communications strategy for major clinical programs and location openings, including the COVID Recovery Clinic, the USC Transplant Institute’s first Las Vegas location and its innovative living donor wellness program, designed to improve the health of potential kidney and liver donors before surgery.
Gabriella is part of Keck Medicine’s nationally recognized corporate communications team, whose honors include a 2025 Public Relations Society of America (PRSA) Silver Anvil Award for Multicultural Public Relations, PRSA-L.A.’s 2022 In-House Team of the Year and multiple PRism Awards.
Gabriella previously served as an adjunct instructor at Pepperdine University and is passionate about bringing real-world industry experience into the classroom. She focuses on preparing students to navigate an evolving communications landscape by connecting foundational principles with the challenges practitioners face today.
Gabriella earned her Master of Arts in public relations and advertising from the USC Annenberg School for Communication and Journalism and her Bachelor of Arts in public relations from Pepperdine University.
