#WeAreListening LIVE

Thursday, April 13, 2023

6 p.m. 8 p.m. PT

USC Annenberg School for Communication and Journalism (ASC), 2nd Floor Patio

Join USC Annenberg for #WeAreListening LIVE! #WeAreListening LIVE is an intimate mixer that creates a safe, open space intended to foster connection and cross-communication between students of all backgrounds as well as diversity-based organizations on campus.

This event will feature live musical performances from special guest Universal Music Group Recording Artist, Trent the Hooligan, as well as student performers!  At this gathering, we’ll also have cultural foods available. This mixer will be the grand closing event to the journalism “Hear Us” conference.

#WeAreListening LIVE is co-hosted by the DEIA Task Force, USC Annenberg School of Journalism, Student Services and the Annenberg Cross-Cultural Student Association. This event will be held for students from 6–8 p.m. Faculty and staff are also welcome 6–7 p.m.

About #WeAreListening

#WeAreListening originated as a social media series that honors and amplifies diverse voices in the USC Annenberg community — especially those historically unheard in society. Selfie videos from students, faculty, staff and alumni across our community are shared on USC Annenberg’s Instagram, Twitter and Facebook pages. Storytellers and scholars from different communities are highlighted. You can view our March series of women’s voices here.
