Professor Biao Xiang will discuss with faculty and students his ideas surrounding common concerns and related topics, in an age of connectedness, turbulence, disruption, ambiguity, recovery, and resilience.
Xiang is a top scholar and public intellectual in China studies. He heads the “Anthropology of Economic Experimentation” at the Max Planck Institute for Social Anthropology, and his works about China have been widely published and received much acclaim.
