USC Annenberg is honored to host Mahershala Ali, whose groundbreaking roles in the films Moonlight and Green Book have earned him two Academy Awards. Ali has also been honored with the SAG and Critics Choice awards for outstanding performances as a supporting actor and is the star of season three of HBO’s highly successful series True Detective. We invite you to join this discussion hosted by Josh Kun, director of the USC Annenberg School of Communication, which will cover Ali’s immense body of work and topics of identity, representation and storytelling through performance.
Lunch will be provided on a first-come, first-served basis starting at 11 a.m.
