Metaverse: The good, the bad and the ugly

The Center for Third Space Thinking is holding an open forum discussion on the topic of the metaverse. They will cover its pros and cons and share information about what their colleagues are already doing in this space in journalism, communication, public relations, communication management, and other fields. They also intend to discuss their views on likely future directions that their individual interests might take them, get a sense of their views, and hunches on the next steps in the platform’s evolution and cover the most attractive opportunities available to them at Annenberg, in teaching, research, convening, and advisory work. Specific topics that could be pursued at this talk include democracy, culture, regulation, politics, health care, business, and inclusion. Ultimately, they will decide whether the Metaverse is either good, bad, or ugly.
