Join USC Annenberg for a conversation with Rachel Lockett, vice president of marketing at MAC North America at the Estee Lauder Companies (ELC).
Lockett has held her role at MAC for nearly three years, where she is responsible for all marketing, consumer engagement, creative and visual merchandising for MAC — the #1 prestige makeup brand — across the United States. Prior to MAC, she was the vice president of marketing for Origins.
Before joining ELC, Lockett spent nine years at L’Oreal leading brand marketing in the luxe, consumer and professional divisions across makeup, skincare and haircare. Most notably, she played a critical role in the integration of IT Cosmetics under the L’Oreal umbrella after its acquisition in 2017.
Lockett is a self-motivated strategic thinker with a great passion for creative and innovative ways for driving results and improving efficiency. She holds a BA from the University of Wisconsin in economics and Spanish and an MBA from American University Kogod School of Business. She resides in Brooklyn and enjoys traveling (she’s visited 85 countries!), gardening and floral arranging, and listening to podcasts in her free time.
