Annenberg students are invited to join Associate Dean of Student Affairs and Director of Career Development Suzanne Alcantara in conversation with Jillian Baker, creator partnerships manager, TikTok. Baker will share more about her career journey and answer questions from student participants about potential careers within the entertainment industry.
Baker is a Boston native and proud USC Class of 2016 graduate, where she studied communication and African American studies. She began her career in the entertainment industry at William Morris Endeavor, working in the business affairs department, and later gained experience across several production companies. Baker went on to join Instagram’s Global Partnerships team, where she developed a strong interest in the creator and influencer ecosystem. As a strategic partnership manager, she partnered with beauty, lifestyle, and fashion creators and helped launch multicultural creator programs. She currently serves as a senior manager of creator partnerships at TikTok LIVE, where she manages relationships with leading livestreamers and content creators on the platform. Baker is also a proud alumna of the Jackie Robinson Foundation and the T. Howard Foundation.
