How to leverage Indeed in your job search and get hired

Berndt is a proud Trojan who has helped people get jobs for nearly 30 years. Presently, he is a member of Indeed’s Job Seeker Marketing team and is working to build advocacy and education programs for job seekers (and those who help job seekers) to help them get jobs and manage their careers. Prior to joining Indeed in 2016, Berndt worked in college and university career services at UT Austin, the University of Southern California and St. Edward’s University, served on the boards of NACE, Space and SWACE, was a founding member of the Central Texas Liberal Arts Careers Consortium, and a member of Austin Area Career Counselors. Berndt has an master’s in communication management from USC Annenberg, a bachelor’s in broadcasting/mass media and German from SUNY Oswego and was Fulbright Scholar/Teaching Assistant in Germany.
