The proliferation of non-traditional educational opportunities such as MOOCs, professional certificate programs and open digital badging programs have, in many ways, democratized learning. Who can argue with the busy mid-career manager who, instead of enrolling in a graduate program, chooses to take a short, online course to learn a specific work-related skill? But what is lost? Together, let’s envision a CMGT Program where students not only develop the competencies and leadership skills necessary to do the work, but also cultivate the capacity and the courage to navigate a post-pandemic work world that is increasingly complex, diverse and disrupted.
