Elaine Howard Ecklund and Denise Daniels book talk: ‘Religion in a Changing Workplace’
Wednesday, February 5, 2025
Noon – 1 p.m. PT
USC Annenberg School for Communication and Journalism (ASC), 207
Join authors Elaine Howard Ecklund and Denise Daniels for a discussion on their new book Religion in a Changing Workplace.
Drawing on extensive research from over 15,000 surveys and 300 interviews, we will explore how religious identities are expressed and negotiated in the workplace, with a particular focus on the challenges and opportunities posed by religious pluralism in professional settings. We examine the intersection of faith, diversity, and inclusion, providing an approach for understanding how organizations can thoughtfully engage with religion to foster equity and reduce polarization.
Co-sponsored by the Center for Religion and Civic Culture and Institute for Advanced Catholic Studies at USC.
Lunch will be served.
