Eliana Johnson, the editor-in-chief of the Washington Free Beacon, will serve as USC Annenberg’s R. Rebecca Donatelli Expert-in-Residence in Political Analysis and Media the week of February 5.

Join USC Annenberg for this special event where Johnson will talk about the state of the news media and political journalism, along with working in print and television, in the mainstream and on the right. Prior to joining the Beacon, she served as a White House correspondent at POLITICO and as a political analyst with CNN, and before that spent time at Fox News and the Council on Foreign Relations.

She has been a regular presence on cable television and has appeared on NBC’s Meet the Press, CBS’s Face the Nation, ABC’s This Week and the PBS News Hour.

Christina Bellantoni, professor of professional practice and director of USC Annenberg’s Media Center, will moderate this conversation.
