Writer and curator Anuradha Vikram will describe how they have used writing and editorial work to build the institutions of art and culture that we need to see. Vikram will discuss their 2017 book Decolonizing Culture and the field of alternative art publishing. Writing and editorial work with X-TRA and X Topics, online publishing with non-profits 18th Street Art Center and MhZ Curationist, and select curatorial programs related to these publications will be presented.
