Annenberg Research Day is a half-day conference to strategize future research and grant making, highlight the work completed by the Spring 2024 dean’s faculty research awardees, and create a supportive and engaged research community at USC Annenberg.The tentative agenda includes:

9:30 a.m.: Continental breakfast & Sign in
10 a.m.: Research Forward Panel and Q&A
11:10 a.m.: Communication Matters: Roles, Responsibilities and Opportunities to Lead 
Noon: Lunch + Dean’s Research Awardees Lightning Talks. Topics include the social world of sugarproduction in Cuba, A.I. & Newsmaking, Climate and Big Data
1 p.m.: Building Foundation and Industry Relationships 

Confirmed speakers include reps from the California Community Foundation, the Center for Health Journalism, and the Charlotta Bass Journalism and Justice Lab.

This event is open to the USC Research Community (Faculty, Staff and PhD Students, masters' students interested in research).
