Social media influencers have grown exponentially in the last few years and are disrupting the marketing industry. With access to followers and the ability to connect with consumers in a more personalized way, micro-influencers are becoming more popular among brand companies to promote products and messages. There are debates within the industry surrounding the use of social media influencers with questions about “Earned v. Paid” content, FTC compliance and crisis management that our panelists will address.
As part of USC Annenberg’s Life Long Learning program, “Live with Alumni” will feature alumni leading conversations on hot topics related to professional development, career growth and trends within communication, journalism and public relations industries. Join us on Facebook Live for this special conversation.
