Nisha Morris
Ms. Morris, with executive leadership expertise spanning non-profit health care, global technology, and public service, oversees the national and regional strategies for brand, marketing, and communications across City of Hope, one of the nation’s leading cancer research and care systems. In this role, she serves as the system’s chief advisor on communications and marketing for the national organization and its regional cancer centers located in five major metropolitan areas. Her work focuses on building a clear and unified brand platform that supports trust, awareness, and performance across the enterprise. In her previous role as Sr. Vice President and Chief Communications Officer, she advanced City of Hope’s visibility through integrated brand campaigns, executive thought leadership and high‑impact storytelling that showcased clinical excellence, research leadership and innovation. Under her direction, the organization strengthened brand consistency, expanded reach in priority markets, and reinforced City of Hope’s position as a leading organization for advanced cancer research and treatment.
Previously, Ms. Morris served as Vice President of Marketing and Communications for City of Hope Orange County, where she successfully launched the brand in a highly competitive market and led award‑winning initiatives that drove significant gains in awareness and preference ahead of the opening of its $1.5 billion cancer center. In addition to her work at City of Hope, Ms. Morris served as chief strategic communications officer and senior executive advisor at the U.S. National Security Agency, leading a global team of more than 300 and delivering a comprehensive brand and narrative transformation focused on public trust. She also held leadership roles at Providence St. Joseph Health and Dell.
Ms. Morris serves on the board of advisors for the USC Annenberg Center for Public Relations, is a member of Page Society for top-tier communications executives and was twice named among the Top Women in Communications, along with being a frequent recipient of national industry awards for excellence.
