
Joshua Carroll
Josh Carroll is a strategic partner professional currently in the sports partnerships at YouTube. In his role, he collaborates with leagues, teams, athletes, and media organizations to help shape and elevate their presence on the platform.
Prior to YouTube, Carroll held roles at Twitter, where he was also part of the sports partnerships team, and at the NBA, where he worked within the marketing partnerships group. He began his career at Scout Sports and Entertainment, the sports marketing division of Horizon Media, the largest independent media agency globally.
A proud Southern California native, Carroll earned his BA in print and digital journalism with a minor in sports media studies from USC Annenberg in 2015. As a student, he worked in the USC athletic department throughout all four years of his undergraduate experience. He also earned a master’s in sports management from Columbia University in 2017.
Carroll relocated back to Los Angeles in 2024 after nearly a decade in New York and married his wife, Courtnie (a fellow Trojan) in 2025. He is honored to serve on the USC Annenberg Alumni Advisory Board and looks forward to giving back to the community that shaped his career.
