Alex Wagner is Vice President of Brand and Internal Communications at Gap Inc. In this role, she partners with Gap Inc.’s senior leaders, including the executives leading each of its iconic brands - Gap, Old Navy, Banana Republic, and Athleta – to shape how the company and its brands tell their stories, connecting those narratives to drive growth, strengthen and protect reputation, and inspire employees, partners and consumers to help move the business forward.

She was previously vice president of PR and brand experience at Constellation Brands, Inc, where she led strategic external and internal communications, crisis and issues management, brand public relations, influencer marketing, social media, paid media, sponsorships, and experiential strategy across the company’s portfolio of brands.

Wagner previously led global corporate and brand communications at Calvin Klein, Inc., supporting the company’s historic global brand and portfolio transformation under the revolutionary creative leadership of Raf Simons. Prior to joining Calvin Klein, she held global PR and communications leadership roles at Sephora, Groupe Clarins, ID PR, and BWR PR.

With deep experience across CPG, luxury, technology, and nonprofit sectors, Wagner has additionally led PR, communications, and marketing campaigns for Tiffany & Co., Netflix, Nintendo, Revlon, Mercedes-Benz, RH, Stand Up to Cancer, GLAAD, and LACMA, among others. She is passionate about driving the future of PR and marketing, and her work is guided by the motivations, needs and behaviors of consumers and audiences across the globe.

Wagner is an alumnus of USC Annenberg School for Communication. She resides with her husband, daughter, and golden retriever in the San Francisco Bay Area.
