What from your USC Annenberg education best equips you to face the challenges of your field today?

Annenberg is a huge department with experts from all over the world, different trajectories, and ideologies. My experience with Annenberg exposed me to a wide spectrum of a field that I am still learning about today. I feel like Annenberg equipped me to deal with questions and conversations that impact our society in broad and often challenging ways.

What advice would you give for someone considering graduate studies at USC?

I would advise them to be open to learning from the decorated faculty at USC. Each and every one of the faculty have a uniquely challenging life story and journey and are experts in their own right. I would be open to learning from everyone and anyone, as the Annenberg faculty have so much knowledge and wisdom to give.

What is the one thing that a USC Annenberg student ought to take advantage of while enrolled?

Not only are Annenberg faculty extremely skilled and knowledgeable, but they also have elite professional and organizational skills. You should attempt to learn from faculty both inside the classroom as well as through research groups and advocacy groups.

I would also build relationships with our incredible staff and administration, such as in academic advising, payroll, and TechOps. Your experience as a student is made possible through our amazing staff, and showing your appreciation to them can go a long way.
