Callie Schweitzer is the chief content officer at Thrive Global, Arianna Huffington’s new health and well-being company. Prior to joining Thrive, she was the editorial director of audience strategy for Time Inc., working across the company on revenue and audience growth initiatives, and the editorial director and founder of Motto, TIME’s millennial women platform. She is also an award-winning journalist whose work has appeared in The New York Times, TIME, The Huffington Post and PEOPLE. She was named to Inc.’s 30 Under 30 in 2016, AdWeek’s list of Future Publishers in 2015 and to Forbes’ 30 Under 30 in Media in December 2012 and 2013. TIME named her Twitter feed one of the world’s best in 2013. Business Insider named her one of the 30 Most Important Women in Tech Under 30 in 2013. She is a member of the Poynter National Advisory Board.

She has a BA in journalism from the University of Southern California’s Annenberg School for Communication and Journalism. She graduated Summa Cum Laude and Phi Beta Kappa in May 2011.

While at USC, Schweitzer worked as the editor-in-chief of Neon Tommy, Annenberg’s 24/7 online news site, which is the number one most trafficked online-only university publication in America. She also served as a staff writer and the senior news editor.
