Vanessa Cuevas

Let’s talk about sex! Meet Vanessa Cuevas. She is a doctoral student at USC’s Annenberg. Broadly, her research interests lie at the intersection of health communication and sexual communication. She is specifically interested in studying the factors, including lesser understood granularities, which contribute to inequitable healthcare disparities in sexual health outcomes for marginalized communities, especially for Latinx populations. Previously, Cuevas received her BA in health communication at Pacific Union College in Angwin, California. She holds an MA in communication studies from the University of Texas at El Paso.
