Where are you from and what were you doing before enrolling in graduate school

I’m from Chicago, IL. Prior to graduate school, I worked for CVS Health for 6 months and as a preschool teacher before entering the Public Relations and Advertising Program at USC Annenberg under the Annenberg Dean Scholarship. 

How did you learn of the degree program and why did you choose USC Annenberg?

I learned of the USC Annenberg program from online research and fellow Trojan family members. My aunt is Anita Sparks, professor of theatre practice in acting and Associate Dean of Equity, Diversity & Inclusion. I chose USC Annenberg because of how open it is to all students’ career paths. 

What have you enjoyed most about the degree program?

I’ve enjoyed connecting with my classmates and faculty. I have enjoyed getting to write for the 2024 USC Annenberg Relevance Report.
