Graduate application guidelines

Seven master's degrees are offered at USC Annenberg.
- Communication: For those interested in a theoretical, research-oriented degree program. Applicants interested in doctoral studies must apply directly to the Ph.D. in communication degree program.
- Communication Management: Designed for working professionals, this degree program equips you with the skills to excel in today's interconnected marketplace. An exciting offering within this degree is the Online Communities track.
- Global Communication: Spend the first year at the London School of Economics & Political Science and the second year at USC Annenberg.
- Journalism: You have degree options in Print, Broadcast and Online Journalism.
- Specialized Journalism: A 9-month program for mid-career journalists.
- Public Diplomacy: The first degree program of its kind in the world, the USC Annenberg Master of Public Diplomacy endows the next generation of international communication leaders with the necessary tools to manage public image on the world stage.
- Strategic Public Relations: Aimed at creating effective communicators in many industries, this degree program offers a case-studies-based curriculum.
We also offer dual degrees in Communication Management/Jewish Communal Services and Communication/Law, and have six post-master's certificates available.
