Set in a variety of cities, USC Annenberg’s two-week Maymester programs give students a firsthand glimpse into the convergence and disruption in media, communication and technology.

Students cover politics in real time

Students hit the ground in Iowa, South Carolina, Michigan, Nevada and Arizona, interviewing members of Congress, and publishing stories alongside seasoned reporters while uncovering the deeper forces driving elections.

Students gain real-world experience with sports media startup OffBall

Through USC Annenberg’s “think tank” course model, students partnered with OffBall to become students became active collaborators in the company’s evolution — contributing to editorial decisions, developing a new campus media product and pitching a strategy that could soon roll out nationwide.
