KPCC-FM publishes piece by USC Annenberg Knight Program student

KPCC-FM featured a story written by Katherine Davis, a student in the USC Annenberg Knight Program on Media and Religion.

Davis' article, "Religion and Culture: Mixed-faith Hindu weddings are on the rise," explores the increased prevalence of marriage between Hindus and people of other faiths. The article is a part of an occasional series of reports from students in the USC Annenberg Knight Program in Media and Religion, which is chaired by USC Annenberg Professor Diane Winston. The Knight Program and Winston's courses examine the the relationship between journalism, visual media and religion. Annenberg students in the Knight Program, funded by a grant from the Henry Luce Foundation, have had the opportunity to global religion, media and politics for the past four years. This spring, students have focused on Southern California's Indian-American community and will travel to Pune and Mumbai, India in March.
