Cancelled: A conversation with James Adomian
Monday, October 21, 2019
Noon – 1:15 p.m.
Wallis Annenberg Hall (ANN), 106
Join comedian and satirist, James Adomian and journalism faculty member Marc Ambinder as they discuss how comedians are a filter through which voters get a lot of information about candidates. What is the tension between satire and journalism? And does the comedian feel a responsibility to the values of comedy solely — or to the civic good at least in part.
