Alex Cohen is one of the most tactical and persistent professionals working in B2B public relations today. He began his career as an original member of Golin's digital team, where he spearheaded some of the industry's first brand-owned social channels and worked tirelessly to build a successful practice out of the burgeoning world of online reputation. In the decade since, Alex has brought the same degree of enthusiastic innovation to new roles and opportunities that required the implementation of larger brand strategies, media relations, and wider marketing operations.
After joining Edelman’s San Francisco office, Alex managed and led multiple silos of Adobe’s business, including highly decorated campaigns for the Adobe Marketing Cloud and Acrobat.
Since 2013, Alex has been a driving force at one of Silicon Valley’s most established and fast-rising organizations, serving as Director of Corporate Marketing for Apttus. Apttus has received numerous top tier recognitions, coverage, and overall brand development unprecedented within the company's 10 year history. Alex’s responsibilities have included comprehensive messaging development, management of extensive media presence at industry events such as Dreamforce, Apttus' annual user conference Accelerate, and throughout multiple funding rounds and product announcements.
