Leah H. Fischman is a brand development and communications veteran in the media/entertainment industry who provides strategic oversight to media companies, academia, and non-profit institutions. Leah specializes in establishing partnerships, brand development, event programming and marketing communication strategies that empower stakeholders and build foundations for growth. Her keen insights, creativity, and vast entertainment industry knowledge has fostered powerful connectivity and impact between for profit entities and social causes and groups.
For the past two years, Leah has served as Strategic Advisor to Dr. Stacy L. Smith and her USC Annenberg Inclusion Initiative. As a passionate advocate for inclusion in the arts and gender equity, working with the leading think tank that addresses issues of inequality in entertainment has been an inspiring partnership. Leah has worked with Dr. Smith and the team to amplify industry partnerships, expand the Initiative’s inclusion efforts to incorporate the music industry (launching Fall 2017) and grow the global footprint of Dr. Smith and the Initiative.
Prior to her advising career, Leah spent 15+ years at Time Warner Inc. and Showtime Networks. Leah currently sits on the Board of Directors for Reel Works Teen Filmmaking and Americans for the Arts. Leah received her BA from the University of Pennsylvania.
