Dana Dinh graduated from USC Annenberg with a BA in communication (‘20) and master’s in communication management (‘21). She joined the Annenberg Inclusion Initiative team in 2017, collecting data on film depictions of mental health for undergraduate credit. She has contributed to AII’s research continuously since then and, more recently, managed aspects of their music and API projects while completing her graduate degree.
As a proud Vietnamese-American woman and AII’s Junior Fellow for Asian and Pacific Islander Representation, she spearheads projects that elevate API individuals and stories. Outside of her work at AII, she has conducted independent research on females in video game content/development and interned at Disney. When not working, she trains for ballroom dance competitions, practices Muay Thai, and spends plenty of time with her cat Alice.
