Artur Tofan received his bachelor’s in communication from USC Annenberg in 2015. Since his time as an undergraduate, Tofan worked on research with the Annenberg Inclusion Initiative centered around diversity in entertainment. Upon graduation, Tofan continued his work with the initiative as a research fellow, contributing to various projects, including the portrayal of seniors and the depiction of characters with disabilities in film and TV.
Between 2018 and 2019, Tofan gained experience in the nonprofit healthcare industry, working with the underserved population in the Los Angeles area. He returned to the Annenberg Inclusion Initiative in 2020 and is currently working on a project focused on diversity in the music industry in partnership with Universal Music Group. Tofan was born in the Republic of Moldova and is fluent in Romanian and Russian.
