Nick Morr received a BFA in Cinematography from the School of Visual Arts in New York City and an MA in Interdisciplinary Arts from Columbia College Chicago.
Upon completing his graduate studies, his portfolio and broad arts background landed him a variety of seemingly disparate creative jobs. However, for the last ten years he has worked principally in the film industry as a cinematographer, photographing documentaries, narrative features, music videos, a comedy special, and a TV pilot. His work has screened at festivals around the world and on international television.
At USC Annenberg he teaches audio and visual story creation. His pedagogical approach aims to teach digital media literacy through thoughtful digital media creation so that students can effectively navigate and ethically contribute to an ever-changing digital media landscape.
