Christina Campodonico is a Los Angeles-based arts and multimedia journalist specializing in local arts reporting and dance writing. Her work has appeared in the Los Angeles Times, Los Angeleno, The Wrap, LA Stage Alliance’s @ This Stage, Playa Vista Direct and The Argonaut, where she is arts and events editor.
She graduated summa cum laude from Princeton University, where she wrote for The Daily Princetonian, and then attended USC’s Annenberg School for Communication and Journalism on a full Annenberg Fellowship. At USC she co-founded the media center’s dedicated arts and culture online newsmagazine and podcast Ampersand, whose season finale won Best College Radio Broadcast at the 2016 Broadcast Education Association Awards. Upon graduation, Campodonico received the Outstanding Journalism Student in the Arts award and jumped straight into arts reporting and criticism in her native SoCal.
Her work has been nominated for L.A. Press Club and National Arts and Entertainment awards.
