27th Annual Kenneth Owler Smith Symposium: The Future of Truth

One of the most important issues facing the communications industry today is the increasingly blurred line between paid/earned content and the growing pervasiveness of fake news. A leading authority on the global PR industry, publisher, former reporter and prolific public speaker, Paul Holmes will deliver the keynote address on the “Future of Truth” at the 27th annual Kenneth Owler Smith (KOS) Symposium – the largest annual gathering of communications professionals on the West Coast.

Following the keynote, a panel of industry leaders will discuss the findings revealed in the 2017 Global Communications Report (GCR17). Fred Cook, Professor of Professional Practice and Director of the USC Annenberg Center for Public Relations, will moderate.
