The future of work in media

Tuesday, September 26, 2017 - 5:00pm Wallis Annenberg Hall (ANN), Forum

Join us for a compelling evening devoted to understanding the future of work in media. The evening will open with a panel discussion which will include professionals from across the media landscape who are responsible for identifying, recruiting and retaining talented employees. Joined by the faculty and staff of the USC Annenberg School for Communication and Journalism, our panelists will discuss how they prepare their students for media careers and the future of work.

After the panel, the audience will be the first to see a new short film produced by the nonprofit campaign Working Nation. The film will explore how USC Annenberg is working to address the changing needs of media employers. The audience will then be welcome to take part in a Q&A session with the film’s producers and subjects. Reception to follow at 6:15.
