Domestic violence affects more than 10 million Americans each year. Yet often it is treated as a criminal or private matter rather than a public health epidemic. Journalism can play a role in bringing about change and greater awareness. The Center for Health Journalism’s annual Domestic Violence Symposium and Impact Reporting Fund provide reporters with a roadmap for covering this public health epidemic with nuance and sensitivity. Journalists nationwide are welcome to join!

This program is open to all eligible individuals. USC Annenberg operates all of its programs and activities consistent with the University’s Notice of Non-Discrimination. Eligibility is not determined based on race, sex, ethnicity, sexual orientation, or any other prohibited factor.
