Yunwen Wang is a PhD student in health communication. Her research focuses on understanding and intervening health-related behaviors from the perspective of communication, particularly on the use of information technologies. She received her bachelor’s degree in Communication from University of Macau, Macau SAR of China, and her M.S. in Communication from Purdue University. Her master’s thesis examined factors associated with mobile fitness app adoption. In addition to her interest in mobile health, she has worked as a health intern journalist, a freelance audio editor, and a photographer. She enjoys analog photography, volunteer activities, and nature.
