Eun Cheol's academic interests lie in the intersection of network science, journalism, and media policy. By studying social networks carefully, he seeks effective interventions to combat the spread of misinformation.

Eun Cheol holds an M.A. and a B.A. in communication from Seoul National University (SNU). Before joining Annenberg, he served as a research assistant at the SNU Institute of Communication Research. He also worked for SNU FactCheck Center, the first fact-checking platform in South Korea, where he reviewed and edited fact-checks.
