Ashley's professional experience is in health administration, largely focused on teaching and implementing quality and process improvement methods to transform primary care and mental health practices to be patient-centered and data-driven. Ashley is interested in mechanisms of persuasion, particularly the use of narrative to prime self-construal, to influence healthcare provider attitudes around change and combat burn-out, as well as, entertainment-education strategies to impact patient activation and public attitudes about preventive services. Ashley completed her undergraduate studies at Occidental College and holds a Master of Public Health from UCLA Fielding School of Public Health.
