Religion, Democracy and the Arab Awakening

Sherman Jackson, director of the Center for Islamic Thought, Culture and Practice, Diane Winston, Knight Chair for Media and Religion, and Charles Sennott,  editor-at-large, GlobalPost, will sponsor a one-day conference, "Religion Democracy and the Arab Awakening. The gathering will be a groundbreaking exchange and collaboration between scholars and journalists, aimed at advancing knowledge and strengthening coverage of a critical topic. The conference will conclude with a keynote address by Professor Tariq Ramadan at 5 p.m. in the Annenberg Auditorium.
