Join the Annenberg Research Network on International Communication (ARNIC) for a talk with Blair Levin, telecomm policy strategist and Communications and Society Fellow at the Aspen Institute. Levin is former director of the FCC's National Broadband Plan and previously co-headed the Technology, Innovation and Government Reform Policy Working Group of President Obama's Technology Transition Team. He will be speaking at Annenberg on the FCC's current broadband efforts. ARNIC studies the emergence of communication innovation, examines the attendant transformation of government policies and communication patterns and analyzes the social and economic consequences. The project is multi-disciplinary, including communication, sociology, economics and political science approaches, and international in its scope - spanning North America and Latin America, Asia, Africa, the Middle East, the Pacific, Western and Eastern Europe. Lunch will be served.
