Matthew N. Bui researches the social and cultural implications of information and communication technologies (ICTs). He is particularly interested in the intersection of digital and social inclusion, and issues of urban communities, race/ethnicity/identity, and public policy. The son of immigrant parents, Matt has written, presented, and taught on a variety of topics related to communication, technology, relationships, and community engagement. Before Annenberg, Matt worked in nonprofit marketing and volunteered as a mentor for emerging leaders, many of whom were also first-generation college students. He graduated with honors from UCLA, with a BA in Communications, and completed his MSc in Media and Communications at the London School of Economics and Political Science.
