She was born in Lima, Peru and grew up in Los Angeles. After graduating from UC Riverside for her undergraduate degree, she worked in the finance industry. However, it was not for her, so she came to USC for her Master in Communication Management. Explaining why this program was the right choice, Tatiana said, “The Communication Management Master has a social track and I just feel like the university is very forward thinking and they are moving towards collaborative problem solving. I’m working at their innovation lab and we work with the engineering, business, and journalism students. I just like the collaboration, not separate mindset. They are ahead of other universities; they see the industry changes and they are in the now.”
