Adaptation of Cull's WWII book to air as PBS show

A television adaptation of public diplomacy professor Nick Cull's first book, Selling War (1995) — which dealt with the UK government's public diplomacy to the United States during World War II — will air on PBS beginning the week of May 21. The film is called "City at War: London Calling," and is hosted by Walter Cronkite.

Cull appears as an on-screen commentator and is credited as script consultant. The film includes Cronkite touring London to recall World War II bombing raids that he covered for CBS. It will be shown on all PBS stations and airs from May 21 onwards, often in prime-time slots.

It airs in Los Angeles on KCET on Sunday, May 27 at 2 p.m.
