T Bone Burnett's 40 years of experience in music and entertainment have earned him an unparalleled reputation as a first-rate innovative artist, songwriter, producer, performer, concert producer, record company owner and artists’ advocate. Burnett's highly sought-after involvement in music, film, television and stage projects is marked by his uncanny ability to successfully combine his unique artistic sensibilities with massive commercial appeal. He is a champion for artistic freedom and independence, and a driving force in the elevation of our popular culture.

Burnett is a 13-time Grammy Award winner, earning his latest statue in the category of Best Song Written For Visual Media, along with collaborators Taylor Swift and The Civil Wars’ Joy Williams and John Paul White. The foursome composed “Safe And Sound” for the blockbuster film, The Hunger Games. Burnett is Executive Music Producer and Composer for the HBO series, True Detective.

Thomas William Davis 
President, Southern California Public Radio

BillDavis180Bill Davis is the founding president of Southern California Public Radio, a California-controlled subsidiary of the American Public Media Group.  He joined SCPR in January 2001, and prior to his appointment was senior vice president for programming at National Public Radio (NPR) in Washington, D.C. where he directed NPR’s programming divisions: news, cultural programming, new media, and satellite.  For ten years, he served as general manager of WUNC-FM in Chapel Hill, NC where he directed all aspects of this NPR affiliated station licensed to the University of North Carolina, making it one of the nation’s most-listened-to NPR stations.  Prior to joining WUNC, he managed WBFO-FM in Buffalo, NY, and KALX-FM in Berkeley, CA. 

Mr. Davis earned the AB from Occidental College in Los Angeles, the MJ from the Graduate School of Journalism at UC Berkeley, and the MBA from the Kenan-Flagler School of Business at UNC-Chapel Hill.  While in journalism school, he produced and edited reports for the statewide news operation at California Public Radio.
