Convention Watch: Obama Presidential Nomination Acceptance Speech

Center on Communication Leadership and the
USC Unruh Institute of Politics, invite students, faculty and friends to watch the acceptance speech of
Senator Barack Obama for the
Democratic nomination for President of the United States. University professor
Geoffrey Cowan, communication professor
Tom Hollihan, journalism school director
Geneva Overholser and
Dan Schnur, director of the Unruh Institute and former communications director for John McCain, will also lead a discussion analyzing political speech and media coverage of the 2008 presidential election. Refreshments will be served.
