D-Clearance
- D-clearance is not required for most COMM classes.
- D-clearance is required for all JOUR core classes.
- D-clearance for non-majors is always immediately following mandatory advising for majors and minors. Students can find out the dates for the non-major D-clearance days by calling Annenberg Student Services at (213) 740-0900 or by viewing the mandatory advisement calendar.
Advising
Annenberg advisers will not be able to meet with non-majors during our mandatory advisement period. This period lasts from early October to mid-November in the fall semester and late February to early April in the spring semester. However during this time, we encourage students interested in applying to the Annenberg School to attend an information session. Students interested in taking a COMM or JOUR class can come in on non-major day which occurs in mid-November for the fall semester and mid-April for the spring semester. You do not need to come in if classes do not require departmental clearance.
