Jieun Shin

Jieun Shin graduated from Korea University in Seoul, South Korea, with a BA in Mass Communication and Journalism. In 2010, she received her Master of Communication Management from the University of Southern California. Jieun’s main focus is in new media and how technology impacts online collaboration. Other areas of interest include human interaction with virtual world and computer. Previously, Jieun worked as a business reporter for six years at the Chosun Daily, South Korea’s largest newspaper. She was responsible for news coverage of the global economy and has interviewed several Fortune 500 CEOs. Jieun has also co-authored two books examining how technology has transformed our lives.
