Ryan Gillespie is an Assistant Lecturer and PhD Candidate in the Annenberg School. Broadly, his areas of study are normativity & ethics, public culture/public sphere studies, and informal logic/argumentation, with underlying interests in political-economic rhetoric and religion. His work so far is in Communication, Culture & Critique, International Journal of Communication, and Journal of Cultural Economy, as well as several edited books and printed conference proceedings, and he has delivered over 15 conference & symposium papers. In addition to his research, Ryan taught nearly 10 classes at 3 different colleges prior to joining USC.
