Beth Boser

Beth Boser is a Doctoral Student and Walter Fisher Scholar at the Annenberg School for Communication & Journalism. Her research interests include social change rhetoric, feminist theory and criticism, and contemporary political communication. She is currently pursuing projects that examine conservative movements in various forms. Other past and ongoing projects have centered on women in politics, political campaign rhetoric in the United States, and political speech in South Africa. Beth holds a B.A. from Gustavus Adolphus College in St. Peter, MN, and an M.A. from California State University, Long Beach, both in Communication Studies. During her Master's program, she received the Outstanding Graduate Scholar and Distinguished M.A. in Communication awards. At CSULB she taught stand alone courses in Public Speaking and Small Group Communication. She has also taught discussion sections of Interpersonal Communication (CSULB), Communication and Culture, and Gender, Media and Communication (ASCJ).
